About the Courses
Foundation Course is the entry level course for any student intending to take up the CS course after the plus two.
The CS course at the foundation level consists of only 5 papers of 100 marks each. To pass, a student has to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers together, failing which the student has to reappear in all the papers again.
Papers of Foundation Course :
Paper 1: Business Environment and Law
Paper 2: Business management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship
Paper 3:Business Economics
Paper 4:Fundementals of Accounting and Auditing
Steps to get registered for the CS Foundation course:
1. Student must pass Plustwo examinations of a Board/ University recognised by the central or state government. Candidates who have appeared at the plustwo and are confident of getting through the examination can also register provisionally.
2. Appear for the foundation examination conducted twice every year, generally on june and december.
